IRISS Peony uses advanced cameras and three-dimensional measurements to create a highly accurate profile of each peony. At a glance, the system measures the width, height, and maturity of the bud, while also accurately assessing its color.

The peony stem is measured as well. Accurate stem length measurement is particularly important, as every millimeter counts. Precise automated measurement prevents stems from being cut unnecessarily short during manual processing. This increases the average stem length of the entire batch while reducing cutting waste. In addition, the system measures stem thickness.
Users can define their own grading settings, providing the flexibility needed to optimize the grading process and maximize the value of their crop.
Data
Because all the exact measuremens of each peony are stored in a database, a lot of extra detailed information is created. This can be an invaluable extra tool for both cultivation and marketing.â
